PURPOSE:To obtain the subject foam having excellent physical properties even when a metallic mold is heated at a high temperature by reacting a polyol component containing a specific tertiary amino-alcohol with a polyisocyanate component in the presence of water. CONSTITUTION:The objective low-density polyurethane foam is obtained by reacting (A) a polyisocyanate component such as polylene diisocyanate with (B) a polyol component containing a tertiary amino-alcohol expressed by the formula [R1 is 2-24C alkylene, aryl or aralkyl; the average polymerization degree n is a positive number; (q) is a positive number 11; R2 is 1-24C alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; the average polymerization degree n is a positive number of 1-50} as an essential component in the presence of water in an amount of 2-8 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total amount of the component (B).
