Compounds of formula (1), where R1 is alkyl, aryl, alkaryl, aralkyl, arylalkoxy, heteroaryl, heteroarylalkyl or alkoxyalkyl; R2 is hydrogen or alkaryl; A is alkylene and X is an integer from 1 to 6. These compounds have anxiolytic and sedative or hypnotic activity, while minimizing side effects.
