ANTISTATIC POLYESTER FIBER

The antistatic polyester fiber is produced by (a) mixing 70˜95.5wt.% of a polyethylene terephthalate chip of 0.65 intrinsic viscosity and 0.5˜30wt.% of a polyether ester antistatic agent composed of 20˜60wt.% polytetramethylene glycol of 600˜6000 molecular weight, 0.01˜5wt.% anhydrous trimellitic acid and 3˜15wt.% sulfonate cpd. i.e. C8-16 alkyl sulfonate or alkylbenzene sulfonate, (b) spinning the mixture at 290deg. C and 1350mpm spinning speed, and (c) drawing the spun yarn by 3.47 drawing ratio.
