PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference with a component equipping head or the like, at the time of exchanging a component supply unit, while exchange of the component supply unit to a mounter main body is made possible. SOLUTION: This surface mounter is equipped with the following; a fixing means constituted of a cylinder 22 for locking, a rod 23, etc., which fixes a component supply unit to a mounter main body, a driving means constituted of an operating air supplying path 25 to the fixing means, a valve 27, etc., a sensor 30 as a detection means for detecting the position of a head, a relay 31 as a detection means for detecting the operating state of the head, and an electromagnetic valve 34 and a valve driving circuit 35 which are a driving limiting means. When the head exists in a specified range in the vicinity of the installation place of the component supply unit, and when the head is in the state of operation, the constitution forbids the fixing means from being driven in the state that the fixing is released. |
