PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflecting and scanning device in which noises can be reduced by making the vibrations of a ball bearing hardly transmitted to a housing. SOLUTION: Concerning the deflecting and scanning device having a rotary polygon mirror 4, a rotator for holding the rotary polygon mirror 4, a ball bearing 18 for supporting the rotary shaft of that rotator, and a housing 17 for holding this ball bearing 18, an elastic member 19 is partially provided between the ball bearing 18 and the housing 17. Besides, concerning the deflecting and scanning device having the rotary polygon mirror 4, rotator for holding the rotary polygon mirror 4, ball bearing for holding the rotary shaft of that rotator, sleeve 20 for holding this ball bearing and housing 17 for holding this sleeve 20, the elastic member 19 is partially provided between the sleeve 20 and the housing 17. |
