PURPOSE: A heat exchanging chamber freezing preventing device is provided to close a cool air venting hole of a grill fan for supplying the cool air into a freezing chamber when a door of the freezing chamber is opened. CONSTITUTION: The freezing preventing device has an operation lever(30) which moves horizontally by the opening and closing of the door(20) of a freezing chamber. The horizontal movement of the operation lever rotates a cam member(38). and according to the movement of the cam member, the cool air venting hole(24) of the grill fan(22) is opened and closed while the end of the cam member moves up and down on an opening and closing plate(40). Therefore, when the door of the freezing chamber is opened, the flowing of the hot air into a heat exchanging chamber from outside is prevented by closing the cool air venting hole by the opening and closing plate.
