PURPOSE: An overcurrent control system in a TV automatic rotating function and a method of controlling the same which minimizes terminals a microcomputer and solves the function problems that may occur due to lack of terminals on a TV. CONSTITUTION: The overcurrent control system includes a motor driving part (10) driven by a power; an overcurrent detecting part (20) detecting overcurrent that occurs when automatic rotating of TV in response to the driving of the motor driving part (10); a microcomputer (30) recognizing an overcurrent detecting signal; first and second motor driving control parts 40A and 40B controlling the motor driving part (10)'s driving.
