PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an inputted electrical signal into elastic oscillation, reconverting the elastic oscillation into an electrical signal and outputting the electrical signal by using a piezoelectric porcelain. SOLUTION: When a voltage VIN of frequency substantially equal to the resonance frequency of a piezoelectric stoneware 2 is impressed between both electrodes PA, PB, a composite body 1 is driven and is oscillated elastically. Elastic oscillation, oscillated mainly in the direction vertical to a side face C from among the elastic oscillations is reconverted into an electrical signal of voltage VOUT between electrodes QC, QD. At this time, the voltage VOUT becomes equal to the total of voltage V1 corresponding to a part R1, voltage V2, corresponding to a part R2 and voltage V3 corresponding to a part R3 (VOUT =V1+V2+V3). Thereby the electric signal of voltage VOUT can be outputted between terminals T0, T3, an electric signal of voltage (V2+V3) can be outputted between terminals T1, T3 or an electrical signal of voltage V3 can be outputted between the terminals T2, T3.
