PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor having a structure capable of surely closing the holes of an opening closing plate when external terminals are fixed to the opening closing plate and the opening of a metal case housing a condenser device when the opening closing plate is crimped to the opening of the metal case, without bonding rubber to a resin substrate. SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor 20 has tabs 4 pulled out from a capacitor device 2 and connected to external terminals 7, 8 with rivets 13, 14 passing through a pair of holes 16, 19 made in an opening closing plate 15, and a pair of first rubber rings 17 are arranged on the upper surfaces of the holes 16, 19, and the rivets 13, 14 are passed through the rings 17, and a second rubber ring 18 having a diameter nearly equal to the diameter of the plate 15 is coaxially arranged on the upper surface of the plate 15, and the opening portion of a metal case 3 housing the capacitor device 2 is crimped and engaged in the second rubber ring 18.
