A device for installing a new type portable terminal laterally on a dashboard (2) and using its monitor as the monitor of a new type car navigator in which the new type portable terminal can be installed surely by one touch and can be charged simultaneously so that the small monitor is enlarged as large as the monitor of the car navigator. The inventive device comprises the case (1) of an installing device, a dashboard (2) for fixing it, an insertion plug (14) leading to the power supply in a car disposed on the bottom face at the fixing part (3) of the case, a falling preventer mounted on the side face, a removable plastic film magnifier (8) contained on the bottom face at the containing section (4) of the case while being tilted and stood in parallel in front of the monitor at the time of use, and the cover (5) of the case (1). A conventional portable telephone/PDA can be used as a car navigator and can be used conveniently and selectively on the inside and outside of a car.
