DRUG TARGET ISOGENES: POLYMORPHISMS IN THE ANGIOTENSIN RECEPTOR 2 GENE

Polynucleotides comprising one or more of 6 novel single nucleotide polymorphisms in the human Angiotensin Receptor 2 (AGTR2) gene are described. Compositions and methods for detecting one or more of these polymorphisms are also disclosed. In addition, various genotypes and haplotypes for the AGTR2 gene that exist in the population are described.
