PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a risk potential calculation device for a vehicle for accurately predicting a risk that a driver actually feels. SOLUTION: A risk potential calculation device for a vehicle is provided with condition recognition means 10 and 20 for detecting the vehicle condition of its own vehicle and the peripheral traveling environment of its own vehicle, a risk potential calculation means 50 for calculating the peripheral risk potential of its own vehicle based on the detection results of the condition recognition means 10 and 20 and a risk potential correction means 50 for correcting a risk potential calculated by the risk potential calculation means 50 according to the past vehicle operation history of its own vehicle.
