PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink container for an ink-jet recording head having a plurality of ejection port groups each consisting of ejection ports for ejecting ink of the same color but of different amounts, the ink container stably feeding the ink to the plurality of ejection ports, and capable of minimizing an ink residual amount when the ink container is replaced by a new one. SOLUTION: The ink container comprising a plurality of ink storage sections T210, comprises: a plurality of ink delivery outlets T230, T240 for delivering the ink; atmosphere communicating structural sections T260, T270 to be opened for introducing outside air into the ink storage sections when the ink in plurality of the ink storage sections is consumed and internal pressure is reduced to a predetermined value; and first and second communicating structural sections T250, T255 communicating between the ink storage sections adjacent to each other. The first communicating structural section T250 is arranged in a wall surface that partitions the mutually adjacent ink storage sections from each other, at a location lower than the second communicating structural section T255.
