摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid removal mechanism which permits idle jet from discharge nozzles without interrupting the discharge action of droplets to a recording medium. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device has a transfer belt 28 to position the recording medium on a transfer surface side and transfer, a recovery member 72 provide oppositely to the transfer surface S of the transfer belt 28 and to recover a stuck ink L on the transfer belt 28, and a voltage applying section 76 to apply voltage between the transfer belt 28 and the recovery member 72 and generate an electric field. The stuck ink L stuck to the transfer surface side of the transfer belt 28 is removed from the transfer belt 28 by being made to fly to the recovery member 72 by an electrostatic force by an electric field.
