PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking inscribed planetary gear device having low vibration, low noises, high transmission capacity and high accuracy of positioning an output shaft. SOLUTION: The rocking inscribed planetary gear device comprises a motor shaft (an input shaft) 114 having a helical pinion 116, a plurality of helical transmission gears 118 for simultaneously meshing with the helical pinion 116, a plurality of eccentric body shafts 120 to be rotated by the helical transmission gears 118, respectively, eccentric bodies 122 provided in phase on the plurality of eccentric body shafts 120, respectively, an external gear 124 incorporated therein so as to be rockingly rotatable with the slide fitting to the outer periphery of the eccentric bodies 122, and an internal gear 128 to which the external gear 124 is inscribed for meshing therewith.
