PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod type constant velocity universal joint having high durability. SOLUTION: Spraying work is applied to a trunnion 20 to improve the strength of a boss portion 22 and the base of a leg shaft 26 in the same treatment instead of conventional separate treatment, thus simplifying manufacturing processes and reducing cost.
