PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device promoting elongation of the service life of a bearing by enhancing sealing performance and durability of a seal. SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the wheel which has the seal 8 integrally provided with side lips 17a, 17b, 21a brought into sliding contact with a hub wheel 1, the seal 8 is fitted to the inner periphery of an end part of an outer member 10, and comprises a first seal 15 integrally provided with a pair of the side lips 17a, 17b brought into sliding contact with a hub wheel 2 and a second seal 19 fitted to the outer periphery of the end part of the outer member 10 and integrally provided with the side lip 21a brought into sliding contact with the hub wheel 2. The second seal 19 is provided with a cored bar 20 formed by press processing of a steel plate and a seal member 21 integrally vulcanized and bonded to the cored bar 20. The cored bar 20 comprises a circumferential part 20a fitted to the outer peripheral face 22 of the outer member 10 and a rising plate 20b extending outwardly in the diametrical direction from the circumferential part 20a.
