PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner manufacturing method capable of easily and efficiently giving a toner that has a sharp particle size distribution and is high in circularity and uniform in shape.SOLUTION: Provided is a toner manufacturing method comprising the steps of: mixing a solution of a binder resin containing a resin A having a portion that may have a crystal structure with resin fine particles containing a resin B having a portion that may have a crystal structure at a specific temperature T0(°C) to prepare a toner composition; adjusting the temperature of the toner composition to a specific temperature T1(°C); appropriately applying pressure and performing addition of a poor solvent so that the precipitation of the resin A or the dissolution of the resin B is not allowed at the constant temperature T1(°C), to stably form droplets; and discharging from a container an organic solvent contained in the droplets to obtain toner particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
