PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active fuel cell device that is reliably started up, even when no power source is available at startup, and thus provides a large amount of power.SOLUTION: A fuel cell device 100 includes a fuel cell 20, a fuel container 3, and an electrical storage device 25. The fuel container 3 has: a passive fuel supply device 31 that supplies fuel housed thereinside, in a passive manner; an active fuel supply device 32 that is configured so as to receive power from the electrical storage device 25 and that supplies fuel housed thereinside, in an active manner; and a connecting section that is configured so as to be connectable to the fuel cell 20, that is connected to the passive fuel supply device 31 and the active fuel supply device 32, and that, while being connected to the fuel cell 20, allows fuel to be supplied to the fuel device 20 from either one or both of the passive fuel supply device 31 and the active fuel supply device 32. |
