<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manifold which is stable even under fuel gas atmosphere such as hydrogen, with low gas permeability with heat expansion coefficient which is comparable to the heat expansion coefficient for solid electrolyte, and with strength to endure as a composition member for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The manifold is manufactured by sintering mixed powder of magnesia powder with average particle diameter which is ≥0.5 μm and ≤1.5 μm, and alumina powder with average particle diameter which is ≥0.5 μm and ≤1.5 μm and mass ratio of the magnesia powder.
