PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable measurement at a plurality of observation points except in a direction directly below a radio wave type level gage.SOLUTION: A radio wave type level gage comprises: an antenna 1 for radiating a transmission wave onto an observation point G on a water surface and receiving a reflection wave; a direction variable part 11 for varying a radiation direction of the transmission wave from the antenna 1; and computation means for calculating a water level and flow rate on the water surface at the observation point G on the basis of a received result by the antenna 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
