摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing mechanism for a turbocharger capable of preventing generation of abnormal noise, improving operation efficiency, and reducing manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A bearing mechanism 1 for a turbocharger includes a rotor shaft 10, and a ball bearing 20. The rotor shaft 10 is provided with a turbine impeller 11 at one end 10a, and a compressor impeller 12 at the other end 10b. The ball bearing 20 includes an inner ring 21 and an outer ring 22, and an oil film damper 50 is formed between the inner ring 21 and the rotor shaft 10. The rotor shaft 10 is provided with end opposing portions 80 axially opposed to axial end portions 21b, 21c of the inner ring 21, one of the axial end portions 21b, 21c and the end opposing portions 80 are provided with projecting portions 24 projecting toward the other, and engagement portions 25 engaged with the projecting portions 24 are formed on the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
