PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing results in printing using an ink cartridge having ink pigment components sedimented.SOLUTION: The printing device comprises: a first ink cartridge that stores an absorber having absorbed ink and has pigment components contained in the ink sedimented in one direction; a second ink cartridge that stores the absorber having absorbed the ink and has the pigment components contained in the ink sedimented in the opposite direction of the one direction; a printing head that comprises a first nozzle row constituted of a plurality of nozzles to be supplied with the ink from the first ink cartridge and a second nozzle row constituted of a plurality of nozzles to be supplied with the ink from the second ink cartridge; and a printing control portion that controls amounts of ink to be discharged from the first nozzle row according to remaining amounts of the ink in the first ink cartridge and controls amounts of ink to be discharged from the second nozzle row according to remaining amounts of the ink in the second ink cartridge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
