PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which, in the case of treating a suspension sewage containing organic matter, the floating matter in the suspension sewage can be collected and separated for removal with high efficiency, and the use amount of a collector can be reduced.SOLUTION: The method includes: adding dodecylamine acetate as a collector to a suspension sewage to be treated; as well as adding polyaluminum chloride as a modifier for modifying the particle surface of the floating matter, to the suspension sewage; and carrying out the floatation in a state where the particle surface of the floating matter is negatively charged.SELECTED DRAWING: None
