PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a round bottle body made of a synthetic resin in which the weight and the thickness are reduced that can insufficiently increase surface rigidity strength in a border portion between the lower end of a shoulder portion and the upper end wall portion of a trunk portion.SOLUTION: A round bottle body has a mouth cylindrical portion (2), a tapered cylindrical shoulder portion (3), a cylindrical trunk portion (4), and a bottom portion (5); and has such a structure that a step portion (9) is peripherally provided in a border portion between the side wall of an upper cylindrical portion (4A) provided on the upper end of the trunk portion (4) and the lower end of the shoulder portion (3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
