<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for optical communication which is capable of transmitting signals at a high speed by using light including many kinds of wavelengths, a receiver for optical communication, an optical communication system, and a communication device. <P>SOLUTION: In a transmitter 100A, a current based on a binarized electric signal for transmission is supplied from a modulator 101 to a white LED 102 to cause the white LED 102 to emit light, and an optical signal including a plurality of wavelengths is radiated to the space. An optical signal component having a blue wavelength is separated from the radiated optical signal by an optical filter 103 and is detected by a photodetector 104 and is converted to an electric signal for monitor and is output. A control signal is output by a waveform control circuit 105 so that a delay time of a waveform of the electric signal for monitor behind a waveform of the electric signal for transmission may be a prescribed value or shorter, and the modulator corrects the amount of current supplied to the white LED 102 on the basis of this control signal. A receiver 200A separates only the optical signal component having the blue wavelength by an optical filter 201 and detects it by a photodetector 202. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
