PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified conjugated diene-based polymer of a high modification ratio.SOLUTION: The method for producing the modified conjugated diene-based includes: a step of obtaining a conjugated diene-based polymer by polymerizing conjugated diene-based monomers using lanthanide series metal compound as an initiator; and a step of reacting the conjugated diene-based plymer and an amino group-containing compound having at least one alkoxy group and one ester group bonded to a silyl group.
