A watch type mobile terminal is disclosed. The mobile terminal comprises: a touch screen; a storage unit configured to store a plurality of standby screens; a sensing unit configured to sense information on user dress; and a control unit configured to extract a standby screen matched with the sensed information on user dress from the storage unit and display the standby screen on the touch screen. Therefore, convenience of a user can be improved.
