PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake system of a trailer which can attenuate as soon as possible free oscillation generated in a trailer Tc which is connected to another vehicle such as a motive power car Mc via a connector 1 with a damper.SOLUTION: According to a brake system of a trailer, when free oscillation is generated in a cross direction in a trailer by action of a damper, a specified weak brake force is given to the trailer by a brake gear 4 thereby attenuating said free oscillation. In this case, an acceleration sensor 6 for detecting an acceleration speed in a cross direction is provided on the trailer, and the sensor detects generation of said free oscillation on the basis of a signal waveform of the acceleration sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
