A retaining pin removal device 100 and method of removing retaining pins is disclosed. The device comprises a fitting arrangement sleeve 102 for, in use, fitting the device onto a fork-like member of a vehicle, a shaft housing 110 which connects a shaft 120, by means of a location pin 112 through holes 118A , 118B in the side wall of the housing and hole 122 through the shaft 122, to the fitting arrangement in order to assist with the removal of retaining pins particularly for attaching buckets to the arms of excavators and diggers. |
