PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a processing speed in a pulse measurement device which measures a pulse on a basis of image analysis.SOLUTION: A pulse measurement device comprises: an image acquisition unit which acquires a plurality of time-series image data pieces acquired by capturing images of a living body; an image processing unit which executes multiresolution analysis a plurality of times on each of the plurality of captured image data pieces to decompose the image data pieces into high-resolution components and low-resolution components, thereby generating a plurality of converted image data pieces corresponding to the plurality of captured image data pieces; and a pulse measuring unit which calculates a feature quantity indicative of the luminance of a predetermined region in each of the plurality of converted image data pieces, analyzes time-series data of the feature quantities to calculate a variation period of the feature quantities, and calculates the pulse of the living body on a basis of the variation period of the feature quantities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
