PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil spring manufacturing device capable of forming a part of a minus pitch on a coil spring.SOLUTION: A coil spring manufacturing device 10 includes: a core metal 11 on which material (wire W) of coil spring is wound; a supply mechanism 12 which supplies the wire W toward the core metal 11; guide members 15, 16 which guide the wire W; a chuck 13 which fastens a tip W1 of the wire W; and a clamp mechanism 71 which clamps a part of the wire W in a longitudinal direction from both sides just before the tip W1 of the wire W arrives at the core metal 11. The clamp mechanism 71 is turned around a supporting point 80 as a center by a turning means and, at the same time, can slide in a direction along an axial line X1 of the core metal 11 with a sliding means. In such a state that the wire W is clamped by the clamp mechanism 71, the clamp mechanism 71 is turned and slides as necessary and, thereby, a bent part W2 for a minus pitch part of a coil spring is formed on a part of the wire W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
