1. A system for automated rules-based pricing via a dynamic pricing system that maintains pricing rules based on configurable rules, in an online digital entertainment environment, comprising:
a pricing console computer comprising program code stored in a memory and adapted to operate a web-accessible interface for receiving user interaction; a database computer comprising program code stored in a memory and adapted to store information from the other components of the system; a pricing engine computer comprising program code stored in a memory and adapted to generate at least a plurality of pricing rules; a pricing analysis server computer comprising program code stored in a memory and adapted to analyze at least the price rules and provide the analysis results to the pricing console; and a customer segmentation server computer comprising program code stored in a memory and adapted to receive customer interactions via a digital packet network and to generate customer behavior data values based at least in part on those interactions, and to provide the behavior data values to the pricing engine.
