A customized reminiscence therapy device and method using user reaction are disclosed. The customized reminiscence therapy device comprises: a reaction sensing unit for sensing a user's reaction; and a control unit for analyzing a multimedia data chronicle having induced the sensed reaction, and gradually providing, to the user, multimedia data related to the analyzed chronicle so as to induce reminiscing.
