PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle head light which enables cooling air to smoothly flow to a heat sink without inhibiting the flow to improve heat radiation performance of the heat sink and suppress temperature rise of an LED to a low level.SOLUTION: A vehicle head light 1 includes: an LED 8 serving as a light source; a heat sink 10 which radiates heat generated by the LED 8; and a cooling fan 13 which sends cooling air to the heat sink 10 to forcibly air-cool the heat sink 10. The vehicle head light 1 is formed by fixing a substrate 9, on which the LED 8 is mounted, to the heat sink 10 by an LED holder 11. A fixed hook part 10C of the LED holder 11 is disposed at a position where the fixed hook part 10C does not block flow of the cooing air from the cooling fan 13. For example, the fixed hook parts 11C are provided at both side parts of the LED holder 11.
