The light emitting element (102) is configured such that a first electrode (120), an organic layer (130), and a second electrode (140) are laminated on a substrate (110). The first electrode (120) is provided with an opening (122). The opening (122) is located between the plurality of light emitting elements (102). An auxiliary electrode (124: auxiliary conductive film) is provided on the first electrode (120). The auxiliary electrode (124) is not directly connected to a second layer (154) of the first light-emitting-side terminal (150).

a substrate; and a plurality of organic EL elements that are formed on the substrate and are adjacent to each other, each the EL elements comprises a first conductive film, an organic film and a second conductive film, wherein the second conductive films of the plurality of organic EL elements are connected each other, the first conductive films of the plurality of organic EL elements are connected each other, and wherein the first conductive film comprises an opening which is located between the plurality of organic EL elements.
