An arbitrary curve processing method is provided to obtain high work efficiency when processing a detailed and complicated curve by controlling a path point located on a curve. An arbitrary curve processing method comprises the following steps. Path point coordinates are input(S310). An average slope is computed at each path point(S320). A parameter value of each partial curve function is determined(S330). A partial curve is represented using the determined parameter value. And the represented partial curve is rendered and outputted to an output unit(S340). A virtual straight line is drawn by connecting path points. An angle between a reference line segment and a target line segment is computed. An average slope at the path point is computed using the computed angle. |
