<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic data recording/reproducing device that can record/reproduce data with only a simple hardware. <P>SOLUTION: The data recording device comprises: a laser beam projector to project a laser beam onto a recording medium in which data can be three-dimensionally recorded by using a volume holography; and a reflective data mask in which the data to be duplicated is recorded and arranged below a recording medium, the mask functioning in such a manner that when a laser beam passing through the recording medium enters the mask, the beam is diffracted and reflected in a signal light form corresponding to the data and projected onto the medium, and interference fringes formed by the first incident laser beam and signal light are recorded in the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
