THE FINDING METHOD OF NEW DISEASE-ASSOCIATED GENES THROUGH ANALYSIS OF PROTEIN-PROTEIN INTERACTION NETWORK

<p>A method for finding new disease-related genes is provided to select the genes related to the new disease through statistical and physical network analysis by generating protein-protein interaction network from well known disease genes and disease related literature information, gene expression information and protein interaction information. The method comprises the steps of: (a) selecting a candidate gene from document information data relating to disease-related genes; (b) identifying normality from test data of the disease-related genes' expression information provided by Online Mendelian In Man(OMIM) to select a candidate gene from significant data; (c) generating protein interaction network between the candidate genes selected from the steps(a) and (b) and protein from protein interaction information data which is Human protein reference database(HPRD); (d) analyzing nodes of the protein interaction network; and (e) making the analysis result to be scored to select disease-related genes.</p>
