<p>PURPOSE:To quicken retrieval or take-out of film, by providing cases for containing the films and associated with identifier units, a base arranged with partitioned containing sections for respective cases and sensors for detecting respective cases. CONSTITUTION:An automatic retrieval display rack 1 contains many cases 5 and a scan unit is provided on the back thereof movably to the right/left on a track so as to detect an identifier applied on the back edge of each case 5. The rack 1 is connected to a main controller, and when a number of a case to be retrieved through a keyboard is inputted, the scan unit moves by itself to retrieve a required case number. If said case number matches with a case number stored in a memory, an indicator lamp at a section where said case is contained is lighted.</p> |
