PURPOSE: Provided are an apparatus and a method for supplying and recycling hydrogen in a fuel cell stack for cars, which can prevent the lowering of output and the damage of MEA(membrane electrode assembly). CONSTITUTION: The apparatus contains the fuel cell stack(10) having a hydrogen inlet(12) and a hydrogen outlet(14), a hydrogen cycling device(18) connected to the hydrogen outlet(14) and the hydrogen inlet(12) without a water trap, and a hydrogen supply source(16) connected to the hydrogen outlet(14). And the method is performed by supplying the hydrogen, passed through a humidifier(22), to the hydrogen outlet(14) to absorb moisture collected in the hydrogen outlet(14) and simultaneously mixing the supplied hydrogen with non-reactive hydrogen discharged to the hydrogen outlet(14) and then supplying the mixture to the hydrogen inlet(12) by the hydrogen cycling device(18). |
