<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deviation measuring method with which deviation of images output onto front and rear sides of paper can be accurately and easily measured, a deviation correcting apparatus and deviation correction program with which the deviation of images output onto front and rear sides of paper can be accurately corrected. <P>SOLUTION: A deviation measuring method for measuring deviation between both sides in double-sided printing includes: a chart output process of outputting, from an image output device, charts having reference curves with a known curvature and a scale for reading positions on these reference curves onto a first side and a second rear side between both sides of paper; a crossing position read process of reading, from the scale, the position of a crossing where a tangent with respect to a reference curve existent inside curving, between reference curves output onto the first side and the second side, crosses the other reference curve; and a curve distance calculation process of calculating a distance, vertical to the tangent, mutually between the reference curves output onto the first side and the second side based on the read position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
