<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward monitor display system which allows an operator to timely recognize short-range information. SOLUTION: In this forward monitor display system, an image processor 3 compares distance information (obtained from a laser radar 1) and angle information (obtained from a scanner 2) pertaining to a target object to be displayed in image with the distance information and the angle information pertaining to the target object hourly preceded by a specified number using a comparison part 3b. When the distance information and the angle information pertaining to the target object to be displayed in image are from a long distance source while they from a long distance source meet conditions of duplication for image display, as a result of a judgment of whether they are duplicated or not for the purpose of image display, an image processing is forbidden. Therefore, the image processing information unnecessary for the target object is eliminated, thereby allowing an operator to timely recognize short range information.</p> |
