<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording medium in which the stability of coloring density and coloring image is high and erasability is good. <P>SOLUTION: In the reversible thermosensitive recording medium in which a reversible thermosensitive recording layer containing a reversible thermosensitive composition which can form a relatively colored state and discolored state by a difference between a heating temperature and/or cooling rate after heating, using at least electron-donative coloration nature compound and electron-receptive compound on a supporter and furthermore a protection layer as needed or a protection layer one by one through an intermediate layer; a compound expressed with a formula [1]: A-SO2NHN=CH-B as a coloring discharge controlling agent in the reversible thermosensitive recording layer is made to contain.
