Camera body with data exchange connection to attached lens

Several contact pins (15i...15h) on the body connect to an attached lens. A reset pin is included for outputting a reset signal and a reset cancel signal. An identification pin is sued to identify the attached lens by sensing a change in the electric potential of the pin when the reset cancel signal is output to the reset pin. Also claimed is a photographic lens containing a memory without a controller, and with a device for changing the potential of an identification pin. A camera system is also claimed.
