Dough mixer assembly has jack raising bowl and contents to overhead

In a process and assembly to mix substances e.g. dough, the mixing machine has a frame (9, 22) to which a mixer unit is attached. The mixer unit drives mixer blades (2) located within a bowl (1). The bowl is fitted to a sub-frame (18) which moves on a jack (10, 14), creating relative movement between the bowl and mixer blades. The bowl is attached to the sub-frame (18) and may be raised by a simple rotation of a lever (10). There is a flexible link between the jack (10) and sub-frame (18).
