Catalytic desulfurization of gas mixture

In the catalytic desulfurization of a gas mixture, a catalyst bed based on titanium oxide is used. The desufurization of a gas mixture containing mainly hydrogen sulfide organically bound comprises directly oxidizing the sulfur compounds to elemental sulfur by passing the gas mixture over a catalyst bed based on titanium oxide.
