PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic base which has excellent cutting quality, retains strength and is substantially problem-free in development processing by constituting a polyester film of a polyester resin compsn. prepd. by mixing specific weight % of a polyethylene terephthalate(PET) resin with a polyethylene naphthalate resin. SOLUTION: This photographic base consists of a biaxially stretched polyester film and comprises the polyester resin compsn. prepd. by mixing 2 to 20% PET resin with the polyethylene naphthalate resin. The polyester resin compsn. constituting the biaxially stretched polyester film is a polyester resin mixture composed of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate and PET as essential mixing components. The ratio of the PET component included in the polyester resin mixture is >=2 to <=20 wt.%, more preferably >=5 to <=10 wt.%. |
