PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint, which is easy to construct, excellent in heat insulation, prevented from occurring of dew condensation on the surface, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 is constructed of a thermoplastic resin hardened body layer 2 and a thermoplastic resin foamed body layer 3 made of the same kind of thermoplastic resin as the thermoplastic resin hardened body layer 2. The whole surface of the thermoplastic resin foamed body layer 3 is covered with the thermoplastic hardened body layer 2. There is no limitation on the resin forming thermoplastic resin hardened body layer and the thermoplastic resin foamed body layer. In the resin forming the thermoplastic resin hardened layer and the thermoplastic resin foamed body layer, a reinforcing material such as glass short fiber, carbon short fiber, and polyester short fiber and a filler such as calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, and glass powder may be added if necessary. |
