<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which makes image quality adjustment without being affected by other processing applied to entered image data. <P>SOLUTION: When starting an adjustment mode, the image processing apparatus checks whether the other processing is performed. When no other processing is performed or the other processing during performance is finished, the image processing apparatus expands image data of an adjustment pattern to a local memory and prints out the image of the adjustment pattern on a recording sheet. In this case, the performance of the other processing is hanged up, and entry of new image data is stopped. The image processing apparatus scans and reads an image of the outputted adjustment pattern, and corrects the image forming condition to adjust the image quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
